Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kibale Forest Chimpanzee Tracking
After an early pick-up, transfer to Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for registration and a briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guides.
Enter the rainforest with your ranger guide in search of a wild chimpanzee community. The trek can take between one and a few hours depending on the chimpanzees' location, with sightings of other primates and birdlife along the way.
Once located, spend up to one unforgettable hour observing the chimpanzees feeding, calling, and interacting before returning to the park headquarters and transferring back to Fort Portal.
