Nkuruba tours, is a community project owned by local guides who have enough experience in the tour sites and they are being headed by Julius who has been guiding tourists for the past seven years (7 years) around the western region of the country, our major emphases as local guides is to sensitize fellow community members that we should preserve different animal species and mother nature of our community so that tourism can benefit us.
It’s a blessing that in the crater lakes region, that we have a variety of sceneries that attracts many people from within and outside the country who come to see them. These sceneries are; Kibale Forest national park which is the home of chimpanzees (Apes), very many crater lakes with different sizes and depth, different species of moneys and it’s the only place in Uganda where you can find the endangered red colobus monkeys, we are also blessed to have the different species of birds of which people think some went extinct like the great blue turaco and the black and white casqued hornbill.
Beings natives of this region we as the tour guides and the research we often do, we promise you that you will have perfect answers to any questions that you had in mind.
